| Bio Information: | Jean Emmons has an MFA from the University of Massachusetts. Though she initially trained as an abstract painter, an interest in plants and private study with Kevin Nicolay led her to botanical art. Jean has worked for book and magazine publishers including Macmillan, Penguin, Sasquatch, Horticulture, Herb Companion, and Country Journal. She has won numerous awards in juried shows throughout the United States and is a master colorist. She is also a generous and engaging teacher, eager to share her technique with other artists. | |||
